The End of the Line!

We've had a fabulous Literary Pumpkin Week at the Creek! We have decorated pumpkins as book characters, our littlest students have paraded the hallways dressed as their favorite characters, and tonight this wonderful week culminated with our PTA's Food and Fun Carnival. I'm always last - last in line at the hallway treating and last out of the building well after 10 PM. Truth be told - I love this night and I love being the end of the line!

It is amazing to me how much we fit into this week! It takes incredible time and commitment from many people, but the smiles you see on the faces of our children make it all worth while!

The Carnival is simply amazing. When you have scores of kids that are in high school coming back, you know that you have made a lasting impression.

There would have been more candy left over, but Mrs. Ruark and Mrs. Constande were greeting kids with, "One for you, and one for me."

Peace,

T-Cubed

It's the most anticipated event of the year for my girls (and they're no longer students at Chets! LOL!)

This year was another great display of "cooperation" which led to a very enjoyable evening of fun with the family.

Thank you, PTA and ALL volunteers for making this CCE tradition such a fantastic one. We really do have the RECIPE for success!

I hope Guy Fieri answers our tweet/email about our Diners, Dives, andDrive-thrus display. It would be so sweet to get CCE's Literary Pumpkins showcased on the Food Network.
