Rain, Rain, Go Away - Don't Mess Up Orientation Day!

Two Orientations down and one to go and the bottom drops out right as all of our 3rd and 5th graders are arriving. Torrential rain and near hurricane force winds (I swear!) couldn't keep our Creekers away. We just made sure to pass out paper towels to the drenched parents on the way in the door!

Even with all the best ingredients needed to prepare for a successful orientation, sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles. We still had a crowd in the kitchen despite the torrential downpour. That just goes to show that our parents and their culinary artists all want to know Chets Creek's secret "recipe for success"!

Hey, 5th grade orientation started right in the middle of the monsoon, and we still had nearly 100% representation. Our parents and kids just flat rock it that way!

It's like I told all of my parents; the number one way to help your kids thrive it to be involved in everything.

Peace,

Really love the picture! And really love all the parents who braved the storm to make sure their students have a head start and feel secure on the first day!
