The Highlight of My Day
The past couple of mornings I have stationed myself just inside the front doors so I could welcome my kids back to school with a smile and a good morning. Today as I stood there greeting them one of the children yelled out "I love this school"as he walked by. Right then and there I was overwhelmed with the reminder of why I love my job. I'm the luckiest principal on the planet!

I have told thousands of people over the last 10 or so years that I would crawl over broken glass to be able to do my work, and I think that being surrounded by kids and adults that love their school is plenty of reason to feel that way.
