Hang In There...

Only a few more days before we can celebrate the conclusion of our high stakes accountability testing with a well deserved Spring Break! Reaching this pinnacle in the year is actually exhilarating as a little of the pressure we have felt turns to anticipation of the outstanding results to come. Now that testing is complete enjoy the next week and a half wrapping up the third grading period with your students. The focus turns to preparing them for next year.

We are all looking forward to that little break before the final stretch. However, I believe it will be exciting to find out how well our students did and how may "high 5" tiles will need to be painted!

The teachers and students worked very hard to prepare and take these tests. Can't wait for all the smiles and joy when the results come in. MM

As a 5th grade teacher, I REALLY look forward to the time after FCAT. I use this time to teach many of the concepts, strategies, and attitudes that will help prepare the kids for smooth transition into middle school (that may be oxymoronic :-}).

I also want to say thanks to all of the teachers, and other adults, who have played a roll in getting the biggest kids in the school ready before they get to me. Nobody does this better than you guys!

Peace,

I am in awe of the teachers and the students at this school. How well prepared they were and how confident. It is an awesome thing to witness.

Thanks for allowing my children to be a part of it.
